Only an imbecile would suggest Noble starts a PL game in 2021.

Fabianski Coufal Cresswell Dawson Ogbonna
Rice Soucek Fornals
Benrahma Antonio Bowen
or maybe Noble instead of Benrahma if Moyes wants a more physical XI.

I'd go with Fornals over Lanzini in this, Fornals won't hide and he will graft, he's due a goal as well.

Re: Team for Burnley

Yes, it's when you're coming up to a match against a physical, defensive side like Burnley that you realise how lightweight we are up front - all of them apart from Antonio, though Bowen isn't too bad. I certainly wouldn't want to see Lanzini and Benrahma playing together in a game like this, though Fornals is only marginally stronger. I'm hoping that whoever we bring in as the new striker will be a tough customer and will be able to play with Antonio.

Fair co's.
As often, Moyes -whoever he starts - needs to recognise if things aren't working and change/sub appropriately. He's been doing a little more of that recently but is still stubbornly slow.

I would persevere with Benny, Fornals hasn't offered much more than work rate, we need a bit of creativity

Re: Team for Burnley

I don't think both Benny and Lanzini is a great idea, given their current form. I also think Moyes himself will choose to bring Fornals back - better protection for Cresswell and generally "tougher"
We're still thin on choices. Rice and Soucek have both been decent going forward of late, but one of them's going to have to sit back more v Burnley. I predict the usual uncultured battle with that mob.

9 goals in 16 games
It’s going to be a very tight game, getting an early goal could be crucial

I worry that Dawson will get found out. He's done OK so far but he's limited. Would much rather see Balbuena if fit or Diop if not sold.
Benrhama needs to start learning fast. Against Burnley We should go with experience so I'd rather see Lanzini in with Fornals Bowen and Antonio up front with Rice and Soucek behind
